Born in Chicago, IL, Jessie has studied art her entire life, exploring the variance of biological forms in art and science.
Jessie began her formal art training in 2005 at the Cleveland Institute of Art as a Medical Illustrator with a minor in Metals and Jewelry, but felt she wanted more classical training which lead her to the Laguna College of Art and Design in 2008.
Since then Fohrman has been sculpting and designing professionally for film and other media, as well as for private collectors and gallery shows. Jessie utilizes the classical techniques of sculpture, using principles of the Golden Mean to guide designs.
Currently Jessie is exploring artwork and themes that pertain to issues of the body, whether it's the cultural aesthetic, medical, or biological.
